The CPSR contains Part A safety information and Part B safety assessment conclusions. It considers the formula, ingredient toxicology, exposure, product use, impurities and other relevant information. The assessment must be performed by a qualified safety assessor and updated when relevant product information changes.
Practical compliance point
Documentation and notification must be completed before placing the product on the relevant market. Requirements must be checked against the actual formulation, label, intended use and target jurisdiction.
