The CPNP notification contains product identity, category, Responsible Person, formulation information, label data and other required product details. Notification is not the same as approval; it is one required regulatory step before market placement. The product must still have a compliant CPSR, PIF, label and Responsible Person arrangement.

Documentation and notification must be completed before placing the product on the relevant market. Requirements must be checked against the actual formulation, label, intended use and target jurisdiction.
